Governance Through
Accountability
The LEXT Technology Research and Access Foundation provides oversight through its Board of Directors and compliance team.
Our Mission
"To provide verifiable legal information for the global legal system. We bridge the justice gap by using AI-powered technologies to provide high-fidelity legal information, resources, and guidance to the millions of Americans who go without any legal assistance because they cannot afford it or do not know the resources exist, while preserving the essential role of the human attorney."
The LEXT Technology Research and Access Foundation was established with a singular purpose: to serve as the independent, non-profit steward of the LISA (Legal Information Service Assistant) engine. We exist to ensure that the transformative power of artificial intelligence in the legal domain is wielded responsibly, ethically, and in service of the public good.
Foundation Leadership
The LISA engine is governed by the Foundation's Board of Directors and compliance team.
